Today's engines are so demanding that maximum porting of the cylinder heads is necessary for the best flow. However, maximum porting of cylinder heads often causes cracking in some areas of the intake port and cylinder head deck. The Port Intruder Kit helps prevent cracks from occurring.

The Port Intruder Kit allows the common wall between the two intake ports to be ported without the head bolt intruding into the port. This will eliminate head bolt hole sleeves.

The clamping force of the head bolt is improved by transferring the load directly to the deck of the head which helps to reduce cracking in this area.

The Port Intruder Kit consists of all plugs and components, but the head must be machined to accommodate the port intruders. Installation instructions are included with the purchase of a kit. Some additional porting may be required. Port Intruders are available to fit most BRODIX heads and GM 18° heads.
